With the super successful match winning innings in the last two matches against India & Sri Lanka, Bangladesh is now targeting to create history by winning against Pakistan in the Asia Cup’s final match which is scheduled on March 22, Thursday.

India have already paid its price for losing against Bangladesh in the league by losing their berth in the final match where as Sri Lanka who have won the title for four times have failed make its mark in the current tourney by losing matches against India & Bangladesh, allowing Bangladesh to enter the finals of tourney for the first time in the history ever since its inception way back in 1984.

Tamim Iqbal while reacting over the victory against Sri Lanka says “It’s a great achievement for the country, so far the biggest. We realize it’s still not over, we have another very important game. We’ll enjoy, we’ll party, but tomorrow we’ll be back to business. I hope we will fire on the 22nd.”

“I think when we talk in the dressing room its like, 100 runs in 20 overs is no problem. This is the sort of confidence that we have now,” said in-form all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and further adds that “Cricket is a mental game so this confidence is very important. If a player goes down the wicket and thinks he’ll get stumped, he will. If he thinks he will hit a six, he’ll be successful at most times.”

Misbah-ul-Haq (Captain), Abdur Rehman, Saeed Ajmal, Sarfraz Ahmed, Aizaz Cheema, Hammad Azam, Mohammad Hafeez, Nasir Jamshed, Shahid Afridi, Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Umar Akmal, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz, Younis Khan will form the Pakistan’s Squad where as Mushfiqur Rahim (Captain), Mahmudullah, Mashrafe Mortaza, Nasir Hossain, Abdur Razzak, Anamul Haque, Jahurul Islam, Nazimuddin, Nazmul Hossain, Elias Sunny, Imrul Kayes, Shafiul Islam, Shahadat Hossain, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal will be competing against Pakistan at Bangladesh’s end.
