The most awaited phone in Nokia’s Asha series, Asha 303 is finally released in India, the mobile phone is actually displayed in Nokia World which was held in last October. The new mobile device will sport a QWERTY-touch design and specifications also include 2.6-inch capacitive display and supports a resolution 320×240 pixels and is powered by 1GHz processor, 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM and also supports and works on 3G networks.
The phone works with series 40 operating system, and has got 3.2 megapixel camera, and will have a 1300mAh battery which gives up to 8 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 7 hours of talk time on 3G network. Nokia Asha 303 has 100 MB of internal memory and is expandable up to 32 GB and supports microSD, microSDHC cards. Asha 303 weighs 99 grams and comes with 55.7 x 116.5 x 13.9 mm dimensions. When we talk about other features Nokia Asha 303 supports Supports MP3, WAV, eAAC+, MIDI formats for music player and supports 3GPP, MPEG-4, H.263, WMV for Video Player formats.
Asha 303 also supports social networking sites like Orkut, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and it also got few preloaded applications like WhatsApp, Angry Birds Lite, Shazaam apps and ZengaTv and in addition Nokia offers 40lakh DRM-free songs for free through Nokia Music Unlimited service and the device is available in two colors namely Red and Graphite.

As a part of promotion Nokia have tied up with Vodafone and offers 1GB of data for free for 4 months over 3G or 2G networks and the mobile phone will cost Rs. 8,899 (MRP), you can also buy this phone from online eCommerce retailer Flipkart for Rs. 7,765 which will be the approximate Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) or the price at which it will be available in the market.
